Tips for a succesful Visit with Santa!
Tip #1: A good solid chair is always essential for crawling up on to Santa's lap and telling him your Christmas wish! It also provides the "central hub" to focus around for pictures, gathering around and sets the location as the place to be! Comfort and support certainly help the fun to last!
Tip #2: Speaking of location... map out or have a designated spot or location that will help set the stage for the gathering. things to consider are lighting (windows) or shadows, traffic flow and accessibility to the space (make it easy), objects and already placed decoration that can be easily incorporated to enhance the visit (your own Christmas tree or decorations can be easily incorporated and at that personal identifying touch!)
Tip #3: Special add ons like your favorite holiday music that can add that holiday soundtrack to the overall experience! Also an oldie but a goodie; the milk and cookies for Santa to nibble on add a little interacitve opportunity to the visit! you can offer them after Santa arrives or have them set waiting for him when he gets there!

Tip #4: Payment. The idea of Santa recieving or exchanging any kind of payment in front of anyone as Santa doesn't get "paid" to appear right. Creativity and advanced planning can go along way to preserving the Christmas magic and still accomplish the necessity. Perhaps a nice Christams card for Santa would be a good way to accomplish any in person exchange and any grtuity is always appreciated. Above all the "authenticity" of the experience is essential!
